Page rank is the rating given by Google that suggest how important your site is on the web, if you have a new site whether textual based or e.commerce they’ll all start out with a page ranking of  0 .  Google has a page rank of  9  this is really unheard of and only a select few say amazon.com or yahoo.com might have these type of rankings.

An average rating would be 2 or 3 for most sites, if your site has a google page rank of 4 or above consider you site to be doing rather well in the world of ranking.
